High revvin

Hey all, not sure if this is a problem, but I was wondering why I'm revvin around 2300 rpm around 55-60 mph in my 96 f 350 7.3 DI dually extended cab... Is there different rear diff ratios for this year and model I'm thinking about changing the ratio to get higher mph and lower rpm since I commute about an hour to and from work any info would be appreciated!! Thanks for the time

If you look on the tag that is attached to the rear end housing with a cover bolt, that should have at least the original gear ratio on it.

How would I go about finding out if my TC isn't locking... Would a tranny fluid and filter change help out with this problem if it is even that???

When your cruising down the road, and the truck is up to temp, when you let off the throttle do the RPM's drop or do they stay the same? If the converter is working it should lock-up around 31ish mph, and it will feel like another gear in between 3rd and OD.
