ok so i got in my truck today fired it up and the overdrive light is on real dim, tranny has not got hot and still doesnt run hot(never seen it hit 150*), still shifts fine and overdrive works. if i hit the buttom over drive kicks out like it should and the light gets brighter... any ideas on why the light is on dim? also the transmission was rebuilt about 25,000miles ago this is the first problem i have had yet. thought i would see if anyone here has had a problem like this or any ideas what i should do. i dont want to blow it off and the tranny go out on me.

Sounds like it just might be a short somewhere as long as its not flashing. Im NOT a pro at these trannys so this is jmo. I forgot my flashers was on once and it wouldnt shift to od. seems to me these trucks are tempermental when it comes to simple wiring issues.
