Flywheel strange issues

So I know my dual mass flywheel is shot it sounds like someone shaking a can of rocks in the engine.... But it still drives but the clutch is slipping like nothing I have ever seen before... it will hold sometimes but other times it will slip... but instead of just pegging out the motor goes to about 2800 and holds steady while my speed increases. the clutch never smells hot or smokes it just slips at odd times with no real relation to temp or how long its been running. i was wondering if anybody has had anything like this or any ideas. I am going to throw a valair at it when i get $ the truck is tuned, stage ones, intake, exhaust, basic mods

thanks in advance
