need clutch peddle help

ok so i have a new problem.....

the rod that attaches to the clutch peddle will not stay on. it keeps popping off the little stubby thing that attaches to the clutch master cylinder rod? under the dash on the peddle assembly..... it keeps just popping off when im driving down the road at random times.... the plastic bushing looks like its still ok ??
