Okay bought a val air solid mass clutch n flywheel set mechanic goes to put it in the new flywheel where it insets to bolt to the crank is about 3/8 slimmer than the old one anybody heard of this?I think shorter bolts? Or they sent me the wrong flywheel? Any help is appreciated
My Luk solid single mass kit had flywheel bolts that were about 1/4" shorter than the stock flywheel bolts. I did try to re-use one of the stock DMF bolts just to see if it would fit and it would not... too long. I reused the big circular "washer" from the dual mass setup that had the 10 holes for the flywheel bolts... that way the bolt heads weren't directly contacting the flywheel.
