Crushing sound ?!?!

hey guys put my truck in 4x4 today first time all summer and put it in and engaged just fine then i turned a little to the left and then ... grind cruch metal on metal noise lol I re locked them to day and drove straight on pavement and turnd slightly and same thing happened . So for all u experts out there just a u joint or two or hub going bad? And yes both hubs were locked in and was in 4 hi

Sounds like outer axle u-joints to me.

yep they are both SHOT ! and to make it better upper and lower ball joints on driver side :why-me

Well.... our trucks are 13-14 years old. Sooner or later they get hungry for new parts

yes they do lol i have a list of things that need to be dome before power can be added but still the best truck i have ever owned !!!!!!
