97 Rear U-Joint

I have a bad vibration and I know my rear u-joint is shot... what size U-joint? I have a 97 F250 Heavy Duty 4x4

go to advanced auto parts and they will have a book with a picture of the entire driveline and all U-joints are numbered. Just point at the number on the pic and they will find it for you.

According to Z-Net, Autozone Duralast Gold P/N: 2-0053DG (alt # 2-0053BF) - lifetime warranty or
Duralast P/N 2-0053DL (alt # 2-0053) - 2 year warranty. Either part fits all locations on the rear shaft.

If you google "Universal Joint Size" you will find several sites that have size charts listed. You'd need to know the diameter of the caps and the length of the joint (cap end to cap end) to look it up. I don't know offhand, sorry.
