loose rear ujoint

I replaced the ujoint at the back axle because i was able to slide it back and forth in the yolk but im having the same problem with the new one. It seems like the joints are slightly too small or something. Has any one had this problem? the slop is absolutly not in the joint as i can see it move when i push it back and forth. Does any one sell just the clamps that hold it to the yolk?
