The motor on my window has a curved bracket with 2 mounting holes in the top. It was curved perfectly to fit on the fabric liner. I just shot 2 screws through the holes into the liner. My seat sets against the motor but it's not crushing it or anything

I don't think you could add the cable to a non power window. I've seen power sliding rear windows with a hydraulic ram that opens the window, I would think that would be pretty easy to do
