Exclamation Boost Pressure

Alright, I have been doing so reading online about what others are getting out of stock turbos on their strokers...

I have been hearing alot about wastegates and the like, and someone mentioned adjusting the rod on the gate to increase the delay before it opened. others have said just take the red tube off the actuator completely. I don't even know what mine produces. they say to start out tightening all of your hoses to gain a few pounds if they are lose.

Does anyone have experience with modifying the wastegate? pros? cons?

If all you need to do is adjust that linkage, how many turns does it take? plug it completely?

any thoughts on this? free power, 27psi is optimum for 7.3Ls ??? and about all the stock turbo should have for prolonged life periods?
