The aluminum ones sure are nice and easy to install and they look really good. I acualy went with a diamond plate steel low profile tool box. I travel all over the us going to horse shows and I park in some really bad spots. I had a aluminum one that got broke into and it looks like the just used a screw driver to pry it open. If you dont go into any really bad spots I would deff go with aluminum. If you go with steel Make sure you have some one help you load it cause mine weighs a ton.
