Question hot interior

is there some way to lower the heat that i feel inside the cab without having to use the ac? someone has suggested cutting / eliminating the coolant line that feeds the heater. what about insulating the underside ? i live in the CITY OF ETERNAL SPRINGTIME where the ave temp is 69 and only on rare instances have to use the defroster &/or heater. also, there must be someway to find these answers here without bothering you all. PLEASE HELP this old gringo in mexico.

There are a couple of mods for doing that. Not sure which year model you have but you can either use a vacuum actuated switch or a manual valve.

you have to do the math yourself, those computers arent very accurate. Just take your miles traveled on the tank divided by how many Gallons it takes to fill up the tank
