Stuck in Myrtle beach

Aliright im on vacation in mytle beach, yesterday (our first day here) were driving and my gauges stop working other that the RPM gauge, and the throttle dont work, but the truck is still idleing. We check fuses and the something powertrain cont module, idle, and over drive control fuse keeps blowing, i just had it towed to a dealer and i have not a enough money for a dealer to fix it, i need some help quick, if anyone in Myrtle beach can help or SC that would be greatly appreciated. My number is 304-380-6282. We think a wire has grounded, but not for sure. Please help...

BTW. the truck is a 2000 model 7.3L PSD.

Worst case scenario would be the PCM gone bad (they do occasionally short internally). I'd hunt wires for a few hours before I replaced that tho.

Did the dealer find the problem or not even look at it? if they found the problem then they have to tell you if they charge for diag. and if they have not looked at it at all you should try to find a small shop around there and see if they can find the problem. good luck man

Keep it at the top.....

Has the dealership looked at it yet?

ETA - do you have any aftermarket parts on her?

ETA #2 - just saw your sig - yeah you have a couple.

Damn I'm no Tech but it sure sounds like a wire is fubar and blowing that fuse.
