They had to go to willmington to pick the part up, so it will be done today,unless something else pops up (HOPE NOT). But ill get a better description of what happened when i pick it up.

I think I would have looked at a junk yard after hearing the diagnosis. Pretty sure it would have been cheaper than 1100, still could have them put the part in. Glad it got figured out.

I'd bet the part is cheap, but the labor charge for electrical diagnosis at a dealer is killer. I'm sure the bill is inflated due to this. (and being an out of towner, they'll take advantage and give you a bill of whatever. What are you gonna do, say no?)

Plus, when it comes to electrical items, buy new, why waste your time with a part that you have no clue about?

Well i got a call from them just now saying they got the wrong GEM module, it will run,start,ect.... But no power windows. Now it will be another day, this really sucks,but it aint there fault. but im gonna try something about the bill for the mess up. What a vacation... I need -

find a salvage place quick, most of that bill is the gem module, our f150 had it go out and it they wanted over 500 for a new one and we found one for 150....
