Well just got word on whats wrong, i had ford take it in, been there 2 days now, and they said its the GEM module. The bill will be $1,100. Im screwed,lol.. hopefully it will be done tommorow around noon. If anyone around MB wanna meet up, gimme a ring. Im so glad they found out whats wrong and i get it back and drive now, but not the bill,lol. I wanna say thanks to all of you on here, some of the best people to take time out of there day to call me and try to help, Scott i wanna say special thanks to you for giving me a few hours of your time. Thanks guys!!!

gem module controls alot of the electronic functions of the interior components , it has alot of functions and i am really surpried that this caused the concern , ive replaced a few but not for the concern he was having , im glad you got it fixed bud , sorry i couldnt do more to help, that was definitly not a common problem you had there

10 minutes , it mounts on top of the fuse box , im wondering if water got to his

remove cover for steering column wires coming out of shift lever for overdrive botton is shorting out just find the bare wire and tape it up,and replace the fuse.

you might want to read more than the first post before answering next time , long story behind this one , and that wasnt his issue ,sorry
