03 excursion 7.3

Need help

03 excursion 7.3. Changed my fuel filter yesterday drove 450 miles yesterday. Driving today truck ran fine then all of sudden it stuttered like it needed fuel and shut off. Truck turns but no start. Have fuel at filter with pressure.

Mods
Air intake
Muffler delete
Edge tuner

I'm in Missouri right now and supposed to go home tomorrow. Thanks for y'all's inputs on this.

Hard to do much without diagnostic tools....

Do you get a WTS light when you first roll-on the Key?
Do you have or did you get an SES light?
Can you pull codes with your Edge? Or just confirm it has cranking rpm to know if the CPS is good?
How low was the Fuel tank when it died?
Engine Oil where it's supposed to be?

Cps is original
No codes
Glow plug light = WTS? If so yes, it comes on
Fuel under half and over 1/4. I've replaced the fuel pick up last year
Edge shows me rpms correctly.
I've had no prior problems with truck, rough idle, poor mpg, etc

change the CPS. same thing happened to my 03 7.3L and it ended up being the CPS.

Replaced cps. Truck fine. Drove about 5 miles then it died. Same symptoms

When you saw cranking rpm from the Edge, that meant the CPS was working OK...

Go take a look at the IPR Valve, make sure the plug & wiring are OK and the "Tin Nut" at the back hasn't vibrated off.

Next, tell us how you've confirmed Fuel Pressure.

Confirmed fuel pressure with the relief valve at the filter. Got good pressure there
