there is a drain valve on the backside of the fuel filter housing, it has two o rings you cant see, and they usually leak off the right front corner of the motor (there is a metal drain hose there, easy to see), although i have seen them leak into the valley and off of the back also. check that out and let me know if it isnt that. if it is that get a hold of overloard as he had a website with just the o rings, or you can get the whole valve from ford, o rings already on the valve.

My fuel line loosens up over time in that area. Any idea of someway to keep it from backing out?

the fuel drain line to the drain valve loosens up?????.......it isnt designed to be tight, it just floats on the drain valve *****et to divert the fuel to the ground instead of draining into the valley if you need to drain the fuel filter housing.

hmmm ok look at this

so I started to clean off all the dryed out veggie on the top side and
woow wow alot of gunk . well guesss what with engine running i stuffed some paper towels around the drain valve.and thery were dry . i think i messed with the drain valve because . it looked closed so and with no fuel reg. or return i opened and closed the drain valve. after that fuel poured out like a water fall . so then again i open + closd valve with engine off caleaned the veggie off the valve stopper . and no leak . but i took pic of the naplam gell i made on top of the engine , fire hazerd yea .well i dont even want to touch the drain valve but for future ref it uses a torqes tool and there looks like there are 4 of them .? and the lil hole in the drain valve lever is the to saftywire it closed ??

Question more help plz

ok I have had allot of fuel issues with my veggie but this is a turbo boost question??
ok I installed a boost pressure and fuel pressue
and while driving the boost never made past 10 to 13 psi . a drove hard and at 75 it struggles to continue to accellerate . so when i got home i tested the guage w the air compressor went to 30 no prob. so it worked so then i dissconnected the hot and cold side intercooler pipes the ones that say oil residue inside . well there was alot of oil inside .. i know you dont remember but a while back i damage(1 burnt ring) in the engine with my water methanol injection kit . At the start of the year i started hearing the whhhhooopp woooo of the turbo inside the car . what should i do next . a yea no leaks at exhust . and i got the banks power elbow so there is no valve to stick ???
plz help marc or forum peeps

sounds to me like your turbo may be cooked veggie....but you may want to have it looked at by someone just to make sure its not something like a bad map sensor or something........but im thinkin its turbo time.......Marc

ok so i called my other diesel wizard ken imler out in sac. and i checked all of the turbo+intercooler hose connections even tightened the ehaust to turbo band clamp a bit
the y pipe looks good so i thought ok what if i take that vac.boost line off the wastegate this made it almost run normal crused at 5 psi almost got to 16-17. what do you think marc. should i go for it and upgrade or i can get a rebuilt for $ 350 ???. what would be the BFH test to check if its the map sensor??? may be unplug and drive see if it's worse ?? or what else should i vice grip on ? hehhe

o by the way my name is nana johnson pick a song i'm in there i wanted to tell you a whole hearted thank you for all of yer help . you will make it into diesel heaven for sure with all of the good charma collect keep up the great work..:wink2:
