Yeah I have pulled all electrical connections and checked... I have now replaced the PCM, Instrument cluster, put two different abs assemblies, and replaced the fuse block.

I had a similar problem with my wifes Expedition. Wound up with a bad GEM module.

Well guys the verdict is in... I feel like such an IDIOT. I had the truck fixed from the very get go.. turns out the connector that slides on the bottom of the abs module has a lock that slides out and then you push it up on the module and push the slide back in and it locks it on. Well, just looking at the plug it looked like the slide lock thing was completely gone because the outside part of it was broken off. I even went to the shop and checked it. I told the mechanic what I was doing and he said oh no I don't think that one has a lock, and I looked and didn't see it. Well, he got to thinking real hard and pulled the connector off and looked at it with a flashlight and yep part of the plastic slide was stuck in there in the locked position not allowing it to seat all the way and get a connection. He then took a knife and broke it the rest of the way out and pushed it back up on the module. He said that it went on as far as it had been going and felt like it was seated and he then pushed it and it went "pop" the rest of the way on. He tried the scan tool again, and yep we had communication and a functioning ABS system YAY! Everything is back to normal and working. Sorry to throw this issue on you guys and then just find out my dumba$$ didn't have the connector seated all the way. I just really thought I did cause I even double checked it. Oh i'm just happy cause I JUST ORDERED MY SCT TUNER FROM INNOVATIVE.. WOO HOO!!!!
