ok so i tried the contact cleaner no luck. so i bought the part from napa. Pulled the original out. It was broken. compared the 2 look identical. tried installing the one i bought but it does not twist in all the way. when i shut the door it just falls out.I undid the 3 bolts that hold the door latch into place and was able to see exactly whats going on. The piece that the connector hook onto is hitting a piece that appears to be a black box to the left of where it mounts? it goes into the hole fine its just when i try to turn the sensor that 90 degree turn counterclockwise it hits and will not go in all the way.any help here? i ended up just pulling my interior bulbs for the weekend but it'd be nice to ahve lights inside again. thanks alot
