HEADLIGHT HELP

I cannot get my headlights to turn on. I just installed a set of HIDs and have it wired exactly as it should. The high beams still turn on just fine but the low beam wire has no voltage to it. Is there a fuse or a relay to the low beams.
Also if I run a hot to the HID wire both headlights turn on.

most of th time its the ballest not getting a constant 12v to supply the bulbs... 99% of the time i have seen issues its not a good enough power source or not a good enough ground....

these things are super picky....

put the ground on the battery terminal... but sometimes that doesnt do good either.. it has to be a clean contact....

mine woudlnt light up right on my old batteries.. .lucky for me i needed new ones anyways and i havnt had a problem with the new ones....

if not make sure its grounded very well....

if they flicker on and off means the ground or the power is not set up properly....

Thanks all for the help. Learned something new today. My 06 has 1 (10amp) fuse per headlight. I had one fuse that was blown so I hooked both ballast to the other headlight wire and it blew the other fuse. Then I got out the owners manual and figured out the fuses. Thank to GCOP for the help over the phone. Kit works perfect and I can't wait to go blind someone tonight.

I've been having the same issue. intermitted flickering on my drivers side, then out for good. I also have the edge programer with display, and when the HID light goes out so does the edge display...Im gonna try grounding to my battery, recheck my connections into the factory wiring harness (atleast the drivers side first) and see if that resolves the issue. If not i had read a few board about putting in a capacitor (not sure if that will solve).???

My kit, i got from Raul at Stealth-automotive.com It's a good kit!! Just dumb founded as to why after running HID for bout 6 months its flickering out.

Has anyone else had issues with HID flickering and killing anything plugged into (tuners) OBDII connection?

Rual, if you got any ideas e mail me.

well... issue solved...kinda. It was not the ground nor the bulb, or power (ran voltage checks). I swapped out the ballast with the one that was working, (drivers side to passenger side) and the issued followed. Im thinking its the ballast. However, I did notice the clip the hold the wires and provides power to the bulb, or from the wiring harness to the ballast has a piece broken. Im sure that could add to the problems.
