fron end of my 99 7.3 went under water in a large sippy hole! i got the water out of my turbo, intercooler cab etc, dried her out & most of my dash lights work with the key forward except wait to start! engine turns over but pretty sure no glow plug action. where do i start?? please help? swamped in ontario

Make sure no water in cylinders, pull the glow plugs and turn her over, glow plug relay probably full of water replace it. make sure to change the oil, check to make sure no water contamination in the brake fluid once you get it all back together,...don't forget to drain the axles....and refill ---- and don't wait to long to do it. The longer it sits the worse the damage! |
