97 7.3 power loss, rough idle

Hi all! Amazing site here! My 97 F350 is idling with a slight surge, and seem to have some power loss. When I give it fuel in neutral (2000 rpms or so) and let off it either dies or barely recovers back to an idle. I had the lift pump(fuel) replaced a week ago and a week before the cam sensor was replaced. Ran the codes and nothing. I did today however check my exhaust backpressure tube, it was clogged. Cleaned it, and still have the same problem. My ehaust back pressure is reading 17 psi at 2000 rpm. I am at a loss. I also pulled the plug on the icp sensor while engine was running to see if it would kick into failsafe mode and help, but made no difference.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, there is no smoke from exhaust. Just doesn't seem to have its get up and go like it should and the strange thing of letting off fuel and wanting to die. wondering if its the icp sensor.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing it's either that(IDM) or my ICP sensor or my EBP sensor. Hoping to figure out which one before I start throwing $ at my truck. Did any codes come up when your IDM was going out?

EBP Sensor won't cause any problems will just set a code. You can just shut it off if you have a programmer. But you said you unplugged the ICP and no difference, that indicates bad ICP
which would have you running in field default already and that is only 30 percent power.
