Check the oil level in the high pressure oil pump. Remove the allen plug on the top, and the oil should be within 1 inch of the top. If its leaked down, fill it back up. If its low, it wont start. Thats one possibility.

is the tach moving while it's cranking. Maybe both cps's are bad. Unlikely, but possible

Check the batteries and go ahead and hook some jumper cables up on the thing it may start then. I had the same trouble a couple of days ago, my truck would crank like hell but no start, I could hear a buzzing sound under the hood when i first turned the key on and through the dash. I hooked up some cables and bam the buzzing stopped and it fired right off. I think it was the glow plug relay not getting enuf power.

itll spin over but not crank? isnt that kinda the same thing? im assuming you mean spin over/crank over but wont start?

any ways check all of your fuses and make sure none are blown. make sure you have over 11 volts in your batterys while cranking. if not the IDM will not have enought power to fire the injectors. check the high preasure oil resurvour and make sure its full, change the cps if none of the above is wrong. good luck.
