Electrical 911 Please Help!!

hello all

I was trying to install the front overhead dome/map light that was missing from my truck when I bought it and I apparently screwed into an electrical contact instead of the mounting hole.

My instrument cluster (tach, speedo, all gauges), radio, and power windows no longer work. I have pulled almost every fuse maybe twice. I also replaced the 30A circuit breaker. The new relay for delayed accessories also did not help.

The truck seems to run fine and I still have wipers, lights, ac, etc. I need to tow a car this weekend and will need gauges.

Thanks for the help before I go for the $90/hour diagnostic!

My truck has 2) radio fuses and 2) cluster fuses... not sure if yours is the same and if you checked them all... Did you check the fuses under the dash and the fuses under the hood?

I checked the fuses in both locations. I only have a few fuses under the hood and they all looked good. Does this sound like it could be the Body Control Module?
