ya we got it off it took my dad standing on the engine putting all his weight on it and after about 5 minutes it finally gave a little twist and from there it was about another 5 minutes of twisting the dam thing to finally get it off it was a Bitc# to get off !!! we got it done tho! truck runs alot better now too and i'm gettin some blacksmoke outa my biodiesel!!! so whos going to the dfw meet??? i'm prolly goin i'm gona make me a bunch of bio and go race the hell outa my truck !!! i'm pushing 425 hp with stock intake and crappy "straightpipe" so once i get my intake on and my stack i'll prolly be bout 440 or so! if all the things are true about this truck when i bought it! so i wanna dyno it !

whats a (rool speed)? like how fast do i start the 1/4 at ? and the only tracks arround here are 1/8th so i'll just post those times when i go pickup more methanol for biodiesel i'll park the trailer and take er for a few runs

It must have pressure on it.Bleed it off with the valve behind the filter.

sounds cool.hey,what type of fuel lines do i use for bio diesel.can i use the regular black.,
will it melt?

if your truck is newer than a 94 then you have nothing to worry about if its older then you have to change the lines because biodiesel will eventually eat thru the old rubber lines . my trucks fuel system is completyl stock i had to make no modifications to run biodiesel if anything you will have to change your fuel lines but thats it nothing else would have to be done . i'm not sure but i think a 94 is ok and needs nothing but if i were you i would double check on it

I have always used a large screw driver to lay in the lid and use as a pry bar, always lube the gaskets on new filter lids.

Find your local Snap-on dealer, They have a Blue Point filter cap wrench made just for this style cap fits a 3/8" ratchet. I have not had a problem with the caps on the busses since I got one.
