Got the truck running turned out to be a fuel regulator that ford already has a service bulliten for and replaced free of charge.

cam positon sensor is gone! Get a new one and keep one in your glove box.....easy to change..........one screw on the front of engine

This was on a 6L and it was already fixed. He states one post up that it was the fuel pressure regulator.
