Clean the oil out of it real good and apply some hairspray to each of the mating surfaces. Let it tack up and then put them back together. Believe it or not, this works most of the time. Good luck.

if it keeps blowing off , need to repolace it , it will never hold aftyer it gets so much wear on it, there is also a possibility of the turbo stuck open and overboosting which can also cause repeat problem blowing boot off, replace the boot first , like said before , make sure is clean and dry of any oil, and then drive it , in my opinion once they blow off , needs replacing

if it is over boosting would I feel more power? I also now have a low growling whine at 70 mph that developed. the last 200 miles last night sucked, kept blowing and had a full trailer load, limped home under 1750 RPM.

would not notce a difference in feel on power , if that tube has blown off more than once replace it , drive it and see what it does, if it blows it off again, better look a little deeper
