6.0 wrench icon light and no throttle input
Just started truck after loading my trailer with wood. I start truck and drive 30 feet and engine makes a fart/small backfire and the wrench icon comes on. The truck wont move now because the throttle pedal does nothing? Any suggestions? My STC wont read any codes and I dont have my AutoEnginuity with me.

I'll try to close out this thread for my son. The problem turned out to be a shorted exhaust pressure sensor located in the exhaust manifold under the degas bottle. My guess would be the coolant overflowing, due to previous head gasket problems , caused the sensor and plug connector to corrode and then short out. Various sensors carry a 5 volt reference voltage, he pulled the plugs on all the sensors (tps, coolant temp etc) and checked voltage. Found out that the exhaust pressure sensor was grounded and caused the ref voltage to drop to 3.8 V which killed the pedal. Cost of the fix was the sensor and the plug connector ,about $125. The TPS on the pedal was good , not damaged. Hope this helps somebody.
