Unhappy 2002 7.3 PCM Failure

Can anyone tell me where I can get a new PCM? Ford no longer carries them. P/N XTP88687F. Are there aftermarket PCM's?

When mine failed, the shop I had do the work ordered it. He had to give whoever it was my VIN so it was programmed in when I got it.

You might want to check with a local diesel shop, if you have one relatively close by.

Have you checked out our Supporting Vendor list? There are two Ford Part guys in there. Autofair Ford and Sunrise Ford. Maybe they could give you some suggestions.

Thanks for the prompt reply. So far no one locally carries PCM's for the 7.3 anymore. I "may" be able to find a company that can repair the existing one however I think that is very slim. So it looks like I may have to start checking bone yards for the part.

Found this:2002 FORD F-350 SUPER DUTY Parts -

It is pricey - You'd probably have to call them to find out what you need to do.

Just letting you know about it.
