No start 7.3.

Well yesterday I noticed that when I turned my key for the WTS light my battery gauge seemed low. I had enough juice to start it up and after I started driving the volts gauge went back to normal. Same thing when I started it up again after going to the store. This morning I woke up to go duck hunting and I turned the key and the WTS light did not even turn. I just put new batteries in it a couple of months ago so I don't think they are dead but I will check. I have heard of the fuel bowl heater shorting out. I do have a TS chip, could that be the problem? Please help I need to go to school tomorrow.

Yes, the no WTS is an indication the PCM might not be running. Look at the Fuel Heater fuse (#30) and if it's blown, unplug the heater and replace the fuse. If this is your problem with the No-Start, it would be unrelated to the original symptoms you're talking about with the "battery gauge"...

It was actually the alternator. I looked at the fuse box but everything was good. Thanks for the reply.
