Rear end chirp or squeek

I have got a chirp coming from the rear of my truck. I dug into the rear brakes and yet to find anything. Sounds like birds chirping from just a few miles an hour to up to highway speed with not a lot of change in frequency. Only does it while moving so I know its not motor or belt squeek. More noticible on colder days. I have done some googling and only thing that keeps coming up is u joints or carrier bearings, question is if it were these items wouldnt the frequency change be more noticible with speed?

does the pitch change at all if your cruising at around say 35, and then you very light ride the brake? move the brake pedal just enough to feel, the drag and listen to the pitch. If it goes away or changes then it is most likely a brake issue. Hope that helps at least a little

U joint generally wont change in frequency of the sound, but it will be fast. Carrier bearing will usually smell like hot rubber if it's going out. I have had a brake chirp while cruising on my personal truck.
