Leaf Spring Help!!
I'm putting on new rear leaf springs on my truck since the old ones are cracked. I have a 1997 F250 7.3 4x4. I took off my U-bolts, my right bushing bolt and nut, and I just cut off the other side of the bushing bolt. There is so much leaf spring tension that I can't take it off. I lowered my axle a little bit and jacked up the frame and I was able to take of my helper spring. How do I relieve the tension on the rest of the leaf pack?
