OBS Oil Cooler Help

I am in the process of replacing the O-rings and gaskets on my oil cooler. I have gotten it out and apart but I lost the orientation of the tube between the two ends. Is the tube symmetrical or does it need to go a certain way with the ends? I'm not talking rotating the ends, I have the locator tab, but does it matter which end cap goes on which end of the tube?

Also, when taking the oil cooler out, two things fell out of the rear end near the oil filter. A small tube that fits in one of the holes in the end cap and a smaller little tube that fits in it. Which way do these go in? I am ready to put it back in except for this. Thanks!

Not sure, but I have seen a write up in fte maybe. I remember seeing about the tab and little small rings too.

My Samsung SGH-I997 made me send this.

Post up a pic of the pieces and I should be able to tell you how it goes back in.
