03 6.0 Batterys

My truck has 127000 and I went to work this morning the truck seemed fine.. when I went to start it at lunch the truck sounds like the batterys are dead.. but I tested them as they sat at 11.9 volts cold.. which I thought was pretty good.. anything will help I just need to get it running by the time I am off of work.. Thanks!!!

You can't test batteries that way. The only time voltage is important is if you have at least one or more dead cells. You can Easily have 6-2v cells that are All "bad" (they still produce 2v ea, but have low capacity)

If they're the original batteries, they're overdue If not you need to have them Load Tested, individually, once fully recharged. Be sure you get them on a big enough Load Tester because diesels have extra high capacity batteries (most Auto Parts Stores just have 100A testers, you need a 200/300A draw to properly test your batteries)
