2002 wont start

I plugged in my 2002 f350 7.3 like I do everyday and it wont start.

I turn key light comes on I leave glow plugs on for about 30-40 seconds and when I try to start it cranks for less than a second then makes a winding sound (my starter) then a clunk...and no start. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Sounds like a dead starter. Check your battery connections, and to/from the starter.

How do I check connections to the starter? Or the solenoid?

Remove the cables and check for loose connections and corrosion.

To check the solenoid just jump the terminals with a screwdriver. If it starts it's the solenoid. If it doesn't, it's the starter.
