Did Ford beat on my truck.

I know that sounds crazy to you guys. But wait.
So I dropped my truck off this morning for a trans flush and filter. When I picked it up I drove across the sreet to work. I work for gm I checked my edge records. (I cleared it in fords parking lot before I gave it to them) anyway somebody took it to 4300 rpm and 28 lbs off boost  while the max ect was 120 degrees. Is that even possible? I've never had my truck to even 3800 Rpm. Should I go raise some hell?

I wouldn't bother if you have already left. If you were going to say something you should have done it before the truck left their parking lot.

I did say something before I left. The service manager and techs were gone already. The guy I know at the front desk was the only one there. He told me to come back in the morning. My buddy that usually works on my truck couldn't do it. So someone I don't know worked on it. I guess the guy wasn't smart enough to realize my truck takes records

Well started my truck in the shop today. (shops heated) and was abnormally loud. And got a #5 conti/balance code. Motor quieted down when it warmed up. Guess where it's goin In the morning.

Went and talked to ford this morning(before all this) and the tech admitted to revving it that high. The service manager said it will never happen again bla bla bla. I went and talked to the guys in the shop and Every one except the guy who worked on it knew that my edge keeps records lol

that's such bull**** man. the truck wasn't in there for a driveability concern so why anyone would take it out and beat the **** out of it is beyond me.

techs that can't respect customers property shouldn't be allowed to work. don't even get me started on the people that work on these things that have no business doing so

Not going to lie, your taking it a lot better then i would, I cant stand that stuff...I know a few people that would do this, Ill admit i didn't realize that that stuff records/ logs information, that's an awesome feature! but its not that it would matter because I would never do that.

4400 rpm....28 lbs of boost and 120 degrees?? that isn't even warmed up is it? don't the thermostats open on these engines at like 200? i'm so confused.

I can just picture it, took her out for a spin did whatever he did, then comes back in and shuts her down....wonder if that is bad on the turbo/engine, shutting down after full boost FULL RPM drag pull without cooling down....

and you said the next morning you noticed something different/messed up with your truck???????

Jesus that guy still have a job? Sorry but it pisses me of a little.
