LOST CYL'S 2 4 6 8 NEED HELP

96 PSD , standard tranny . valve cover wiring harness was burnt on hot side of # 2 injector and burnt the male plug from engine harness. replaced the harness end with kit from ford, replaced both inside harnesses and valve cover gasket , still dont have cyl's 2 ,4 ,6 , & 8 . they work under the buzz test but with engine running there is no difference in roughness by unplugging one or both connectors on 2,4,6,8 . checked injectors for ohms test and all passed, checked wiring harness and its good. wandering if the control box for the injectors can be bad and still run cyl's 1,3,5,7 ? codes now are P0606 , P1111 , CYL BALANCE TEST SHOWS 2,4,6,8, BAD? NEED HELP BEFORE I PULL MY HAIR OUT...... THANKS

JEFF

Maverick, Could it have blown one of your fuses when your wires shorted out?
Hope you can find out what happened quick, as my '01 fried the wires on the drivers side 3 weeks ago. Sounded terrible and very sick running on 4 cylinders!
