Does your "wait to start" light come on when you turn the key on?
If it does not, check fuse #22 in the fuse panel under the hood(30Amp maxi fuse). If it is blown, replace it and unplug your fuel bowl heater. Should start right up.(Happened to my 97 the same way you describe)

If the WTS light does come on, unplug the CPS, make sure it is clean and making a good connection, and let us know.

hope this helps
chris

How many miles are on the truck? Do you have a chip in the truck ? If the chip comes loose it could cause some problems there. Other wise it sounds like it might be a IPR (injection pressure regulater). That is located on the HPOP,on the back side of the housing. I had the same issue with a friends truck, ran ruff, loss of power and frequent stalls.

Thanks for all the help. It turns out my tank switch has gone bad. When I ran the rear tank low and switched to the front tank the guage showed full but it was still pulling from the rear tank and ran the tank dry. Still not sure whats causing the low boost pressure though. I'll post something in the general discussion.

Thanks,
Jason
