Code trouble

I have a code of p0478 and p0470 can any tell me what this could be My SEL is on. It is a 2000 f350

p0470-Exhaust Pressure Sensor Malfuction

probably need to replace ebp sensor and r&r tube from right manifold to sensor and clean it out , that will fix it

It sounds like the exhaust back pressure sensor has malfunctioned. Could be wiring.

also check your EBPV, the valve at the bottom of your turbo. See if it is stuck.
The p0478 is for High pressure. If your valve is stuck, you would notice a power loss, and the exhaust would be louder.

P0478 Exhaust pressure control valve high input Plugged sensor line, stuck butterfly, restricted exhaust

P0470 Exhaust back pressure sensor circuit malfunction Biased sensor, open signal return
