FICM?

My 03 is sitting in the garage with a horrible idle. I hooked it up to AE and found my batteries were about shot, so I just replaced them and now voltage is good. With KOEO the FICM voltage is 48 even and occasionally drops to 47.5 I have a code for #6 Injector Circuit Contribution/Fault and #6 has no sound on the buzz test. Is my FICM out causing 6 to not buzz or do I have a bad FICM and bad injector? Thanks

Your FICM is likely fine, but the #6 is a bad injector.

Even if it is an Injector Circuit code? I ran around the forum and it sounded like that meant it was electrical (harness, batteries, ficm) but Im not sure. I just want it to run right again and want to order the right parts. Thanks

It would be a different code for the FICM Injector circuit low. The code you are getting is suggesting the electrical portion of the injector isn't working.

Oh ok, Where is the best place to get a replacement injector from? and how hard are they to swap? Is it something I can do fairly easy in my garage?

Get one from Ford. It isn't difficult, although I paid to have BulletProof Diesel do mine for me. I'll let someone else who has actual experience to chime in.
