Lights and Radio ALWAYS on, even with key off

Alright guys this one has my mind blown. 99 F250 7.3 4x4 auto.

This happened yesterday while I was on a job site. I pulled up and shut the truck off, but I noticed that the radio stayed on even with the key out of the ignition. I fumbled with the ignition for a minute thinking that maybe I turned it to accessory and somehow the key came out, but no luck.

At the same time, I noticed that my marker and dash lights are ALWAYS on, regardless of where the light switch is at. When I take the key out, it doesn't give the usual warning bell that the lights are on.

I pulled the radio fuse from under the dash, no luck. However, I pulled the fuse out from under the hood and that fixed the problem. So now whenever I want to shut the truck off, I have to pull a fuse.

Please help me on this.

Will the lights go out if you open a different door, say passenger door?
If so I would say that you have a short in your drivers door that is telling the computer that you haven't opened the door, so the lights stay on and the radio keeps playing.
Also, do you have a security alarm on the truck?

It's possible, but I don't think that's the situation. Why would the outside parking lights stay on?

Actually, I don't have functioning interior lights except for the switch on ones. They always stay on, so I just took the bulbs out long ago.

I had this same problem. There is a wire that runs to the c pillar from the sill. It's purple and it gets corroded. This was the source of my problem. Hope this is somewhat helpful.
