Exclamation Help, Still have problems!!

Please Help!!
2002 7.3 Is still stalling at red lights and low rpms. I replaced the fuel filter, cps, and changed the oil. (needed it anyway)
The H2O in fuel light and the check engine come on when it stalls
It will restart and run fine after a couple of tries.

Fuel pump?
Wrong Oil? had to stoop to quick lube and they supposedly put in 15W-40
This is driving me nuts!!
thanks in advance for any light shed on this prob.

Are you sure that you don't have some water in the fuel?

Have you drained the fuel filter housing? Should be a yellow lever on the side/ back of the housing turn it and the fuel will drain out the bottom. You might have gotten a bad dose of fuel. May have to drain it several times and when you think you have it all out change the filter again.

I think it may be something to do with the Edge Juice module. Today the Water light came on and the CE light also,When I noticed that I looked down at the monitor, and the screen was blank. It stalled, then started back up. I didnt have to crank it , it was strange it just stalled and lost all power, power steering and all. then when I was coasting off of the ramp, I had power again.
I may have a haunted truck.

get a sample of your fuel by syphoning some out of the tank then slowly pour it on a clean piece of ground and watch to see if water is present while pouring it will bead up and roll off the fuel, not any more then a quart will do

I have a question, will water stay in the tank, I ran it almost dry on purpose today, and refilled at the truck stop, hoping that it would have the "freshest" fuel around my town. Will the water eventually work its way out, or some stay in the tank. I am not all that new to diesels, been driving them since 2000, and never had a problem with water in fuel, must have been lucky!

The water seperator will capture it as it works its way to the engine. Some can stay in the tank for some time depending on how much was there in the beginning. I would drain the seperator into a jar when you have one of the events. That way you can see if there is any water. But it could be something else maybe an electrical problem with the tunner of even a loose connection.
