'06 PSD Oil overheating problem

Hey all! Just wondering if someone could shed some light on a problem that I am having. I have an 06 F350 SD Crew Cab Dually that I pull a 39' fifth wheel with. Recently, I started getting a warning signal (Banks unit installed) about high enging oil temperature. It got as high as 228F. I get this while pulling trailer up hill only and it doesn't matter if Banks unit is on stock setting, full on power setting or somewhere in between. Two questions come to mind:1) How high is too high for PSDs? (the warning signal was pre set but can be changed) and 2) What can be done to lower the temp (as in products that others have tried. I've seen the oil coolers, coolers with fans, extrusions, etc., but as you all know, it is already crowded in front of the radiator and there isn't much room under the hood as well as being hot under there. I have installed a Banks 4" exhaust from turbo back, larger air cooler, air intake system and Banks PDA system. I pull this trailer all the time and I have several trips planned soon that will take me over much steeper and longer hills then what it is getting hot on now. Trailer weight is about 14,000lbs. Any thoughts?

First off...

To POWERSTROKE.ORG

You can add a second oil cooler and transcooler if you are having that get warm too. Stump did a transcooler write up in the write up section. I am sure you could do something similar with an oil cooler. Discountpowerparts has a real good price on a trans or oil cooler right now. Some where in the ball park of $50. Check those out. I am sure someone else will have some input for ya. Also check with the site vendors, they could help ya out too.
