Hi all I have a '04 F35 crew cab with Banks 4" exh. air filter and 6 gun tuner with PDA. I'm having the same problem with high oil temp. without towing. On the open road it started missing the oil temp started to go up. Was cool outside 75 F. Now the temp. goes up quick on small hills? The miss stopped right away. Took it to the dealer, they didn' do sh-t!

seems thats "business as usual" for most dealers...charge you a small fortune to NOT fix your rig. got about as much use (and respect) for them as I have for another butt hole. Best mechanic I've found so far...Scott (scuffy) who owns Trucks Unlimited down Winston-Salem NC way. I'm in Pittsburgh, some 400 miles from him and to be honest, I wouldn't let anyone else near my beastie with a wrench. Scott KNOWS what he's doing and won't charge you a few necessary body parts to get your rig up and running right...the FIRST TIME!

mxwilly, ha I'm having the same problems as you! 2004 6.0 psd with Banks 6 gun tuner, intake system w/airfilter, the 4" exh. from the turbo all the way back. My oil alarm was going off at 218*F. Called banks and reset that to 235*F. I'm watching the motor and oil temps. now on the PDA. Just a small hill down here in San Diego the coolant starts to climb. The oil temp. follows and it doesn't drop when the coolant does. I think the oil cooler is partially plugged? Are you having luck getting yours fixed? Larry
