Bad Injector
I noticed my 99' 7.3 diesel idleing rough, so i used my edge programmer to run a diognostics test and sure enough, i have a bad injector. the truck has over 265,000 miles on it and 5 injectors have already been replaced. i don't want to have to spend over 250 bucks on a new injector. does anyone know where to find a cheap stock replacement injector? thanks.

I found a guy in Austin texas that sells used injectors on EBAY.
I bought 4 @ $60 each . All of them work beautifully. The injectors that I received were originals. and the injectors that were replaced were all rebuilds. There is also a company on the internet that will rebuild your injectors and increase thier capacity to 100+ cc's at the same time. Price was $500 ish. |
