Please Help
I noticed this a day or two ago but i have a coolant leak from the front of my engine right behind the crankshaft pulley it seems. It started out very slow on a hot day and i thought nothing of it at the time but today i parked my truck and i have fluid pouring out of it like a sieve. It looks to be coming out right behind the lowest pulley (crankshaft?) and i have no idea what it is at the moment and i can't get the truck to a shop until monday. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
It slows down to a drip after a while but after running the truck it comes puring out pretty bad. |

Thanks a lot guys for all the help. I pm'd scruffy (diesel tech) and he said the same thing about it being the water pump. It's going to the shop on tuesday. Again thanks for all the help. She's up to 145,000 miles with only a new CPS and tranny rebuild after many years of towing farm animals and such. I'm very very happy with her. Thank You. Shane/997.3PSD |

By the way you will need the fan clutch wrench in order to get the fan off the water pump prior to removal. |
