IM GIVING UP

Maybe you guys can help out before I loose the 2 hairs I have left on my head. I have a 99 e350 superduty. Starting about a year ago I've put 2 injectors, dropped the tank (cleaned the socks) only after a week had to drop it again and remove them completely (I know the tank is descaling) thats on my list, and ended up installing 1 more injector. The darn thing still runs with a miss followed by white smoke (raw fuel) and seems to take a little than normal time shifting fron 1st to 2nd and thats when the smoke takes place. I have to really hit it to move and clear the smoke but that is not working to well anymore (the filter is clean). Now on top of everything the od light is flashing
The shops out by me know less then I do (thats bad) but a least let me know which injectors are bad after paying them 200.00 for a buzz test

Anybody have any ideas??? I have more trust in you guys than the shops

Thanks In advance

Did you change your fuel filter when you did the tank work, or have you changed it reguarly. Also, when was the last time you changed your oil. If you got old oil in your engine, it will cause all sorts of problems.

if your od light is flashing and your having troubles shifting than your tranny is on its way out. my old 7.3 did the same thing.

check your fuel pressure. also the line that goes into the fuel filter housing has a 45 deg elbow sometimes they get clogged with junk from the tank.

I thought black smoke was raw fuel.

White smoke was not enough fuel.
