brake lights are on all the time
ok i have a 04 f250 and when i have my headlights on my brake lights are also on all the time. my third brake light is off until i step on the brake but the rear taillights are always on as if im stepping on the brake. what is causing this?? thanks

Not Good
Read this post. The wires colors should match up. It tells you what you're supposed to have at the multi function switch. My guess is that your multifunction switch is bad. The brake light feed comes in from the switch and then goes through the multifunction switch to the turn/brake lights. The third brake lights bypass the multifunction switch. this is why they still work. |
