95 PSD- NO START- Need to haul
1995 f-350 4x4 5-spd. Powerstroke 325,000 miles.
Heres the skinny, Normal warm day (70) and suddenly she wouldn't start. Never any problems until now. I I figured it to be the cam positioning sensor and replaced it- nothing. The wait-to-start light comes on, the tach and oil pressure move during cranking. I checked all the fuses- nothing. During cranking I can't smell any diesel or smoke (yes, full of fuel) I pulled out the relay's (4) under the hood and swapped them around and she fired!! Problem fixed- no. Hour later same thing no fire. I tried to swap the relays again- nothing. Then again and she fired, ran rough and died, did it a few more times and same thing, would fire up and die right away. I Just finished hauling a 26,000 lb. load of fruit, but the problem didn't start until days after the haul Please help, my wife wants to ditch the "rough" riding truck for a newer less miles GMC for a "smoother" ride. I'll save the "How to make my truck ride smoother" thread for another day. Thanks in advanced |
