No electrical power

I just replaced both batteries this afternoon. The truck was running fine no other problems but the batteries were old. After I was done I checked the voltages on them and they were good. I went to start the truck and I got nothing. No interior lights, no key in ignition dinger, nothing no power. I've checked all the fuses in the box and haven't found any blown. I'm thinking fuseable link but I don't know where any of them are. Please help

This might be a dumb question but i have to ask, on some batteries they come with a plastic piece on the top of the power terminal, did you happen to forget to remove it?
